My biggest dream in life... I can\'t think of ever having a single dream for my entire life. As I live my life, my understanding of the world around me, how I partake in it, and how I would like to partake in it is ever evolving and changing. It was a really big risk to take, but I carefully thought of this decision for more than a year and I finally had the courage to forgo my previous career to pursue this passion. Ever since I was 11, I wanted to major in film. I was first introduced through an after school program, there I had people I knew who attended and they introduced me to a film club they were in. I took interest and learned how videos were made and how to create scripts. My interest deepened as I became interested in animation after watching Pirates of Caribbean. After being exposed to cut scenes of Final Fantasy by cubenix, I realized that I always wanted to create fantasy-like art where your can let your creativity loose. Throughout my high school year, I was wavering what I should major in once I enter college. Once I did a little bit more research, I decided that I wanted to major in Digital Media where film, animation,and conceptual art is covered.

When I was at School of the Arts high school I felt like I could do anything. Forced to select a major (or else my dad would not pay for college at SF State) i was told to be a film major. That was when I realized that I was not as good of an artist as most of my classmates. I did some web design work, which actually made me feel like i could actually function as an artist. When I graduated I decided a dream that I might have a chance at achieving was to be a \"fine arts illustrator\", and \"master the web.\"

I started by researching schools and their costs. I always had it in my head that school had become much too expensive and that I would not be able to afford it. But after research I realized that it will be hard but that I can do it. I have started a class and have a college counselor helping me with my transcripts to see what I tranfer towards this degree. I will need to continue to work full time so it will take a while but I will be so happy and proud to finally get my degree! My design career seed has already been planted for years. I have designed and renovated many homes and always enjoy it. I have been told over and over by friends and acquaintances that it is what I should do. For some reason I would always sluff it off as un-doable. I am still in the beginning stages but I feel pretty confident about this path of formal education, goal setting and forward movement!

In the specific answer to this question, I find myself on the cusp of a new phase in my life, with new burgeoning dreams as yet unformed. Formerly, my dream was to work as a Circus Artist in a intimate and astounding troupe traveling and honing my skills. A friend of mine calls it \"following the scent.\" I first began by exploring after High School. I hitchhiked around Europe working on farms, cafes, and boatyards for 9 months, and I continued to travel over the next few years in spurts around America and again in Europe to see and discover new things. When I landed in San Francisco and discovered the Circus Center, things began to take hold. In Europe, I had seen many inspiring street performances. I also enjoyed working with my body in my manual labor jobs, in my small martial arts training, and circus training felt like a good fit. Training was the hook at first,I learned a variety of Circus disciplines under amazing coaches, and the I appreciated the clarity and solidity of the accomplishment. However, the more I became immersed the more I saw the artistry and depth of performance beyond the training.
